Move More Month
Add a move. Every day.

When is Move More Month?
From April 1 to April 30.
What is Move More Month?
Move More Month is the April-long initiative of the American Heart Association that asks everyone — regardless of fitness level — to add a little more movement to each day. Launched in 2018, the month is anchored by National Walking Day on the first Wednesday of April and ties into the AHA's long-term mission of preventing heart disease and stroke. The message is plain: small things count. A walk around the block, a dance break in the living room, a stretch every hour, a game of fetch with the dog, a new sport tried for the first time — each builds toward the kind of steady, moderate activity that protects the heart and the brain. The campaign's tone is friendly, not punishing: progress, not perfection.
