Lebanon Cedars Day
The tree on the flag needs the country's help.
Today
When is Lebanon Cedars Day?
Every year on March 31.
What is Lebanon Cedars Day?
The cedar on Lebanon's flag is also a species under pressure from climate change, pests and centuries of logging. Cedars Day focuses attention on the surviving groves and on the replanting programmes working to extend them.
