What is Expanding Girls' Horizons in Science and Engineering Month?
Expanding Girls' Horizons in Science and Engineering Month, observed every March since 2020 and rooted in the 1974 Expanding Your Horizons Network, encourages girls to pursue careers in STEM fields. Through conferences, role models, hands-on workshops, and outreach events, the month highlights career pathways in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics where women remain underrepresented.
