What is Coptic Christmas?
Coptic Christmas, celebrated on January 7th, is a deeply cherished day in the Coptic Orthodox Church, marked by joy, reverence, and spiritual reflection. Homes and churches glow with candles, families gather for traditional meals like fava bean stew, and a midnight mass unites communities in prayer and song. The day honors the birth of Jesus Christ and reminds believers of the light and hope He brought into the world.
