When is World Children's Day?

Every year on November 20.

What is World Children's Day?

World Children's Day on November 20 is UNICEF's global day of action for children, built on the anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted in 1989. Each year children are invited to take over roles usually held by adults, from presenting the news to sitting in parliaments, to show that their voices matter. Buildings and landmarks around the world light up in blue, and schools hold debates on the issues children say matter most to them.
