National Children's Month
Every child deserves a chance to thrive.
When is National Children's Month?
From November 1 to November 30.
What is National Children's Month?
National Children's Month is observed in the Philippines every November under a 2015 law, Republic Act 10661. November was chosen because the UN adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child on November 20, 1989, and the Philippines ratified it the following year. Government agencies, schools and charities use the month for programmes on child protection, health, nutrition and education.
