Universal Children's Day
For every child, every right.

When is Universal Children's Day?
Every year on November 20.
What is Universal Children's Day?
Universal Children's Day was recommended by the UN General Assembly in 1954 as a day for all countries to promote the welfare of children and understanding between them. November 20 later became its date because the UN adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child on that day in 1959 and the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989. Some countries celebrate children on their own dates, such as Türkiye on April 23, but November 20 is the shared global moment for children's rights.
