Science Fiction Day
Read a future before it happens.
When is Science Fiction Day?
Every year on January 2.
What is Science Fiction Day?
Science Fiction Day on January 2 is held on the official birthday of Isaac Asimov, born around 1920 in Russia and raised in New York. A biochemistry professor, he wrote or edited around 500 books, including the Foundation series and the robot stories that introduced the Three Laws of Robotics. Fans mark the day by reading a classic or a new science-fiction novel, watching a favourite film and imagining the futures the genre has explored.
