Unity Day
One people, one nation, united.

When is Unity Day?
Every year on November 4.
What is Unity Day?
Unity Day on November 4 is a Russian public holiday introduced in 2005. It commemorates the liberation of Moscow from Polish-Lithuanian forces in 1612 by a people's militia led by the merchant Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, which ended the period known as the Time of Troubles. The day is marked with concerts, rallies and flowers laid at the Minin and Pozharsky monument on Red Square.
