Flag Day in Panama
The flag that won a country.

When is Flag Day in Panama?
Every year on November 4.
What is Flag Day in Panama?
Flag Day in Panama on November 4 honours the national flag, first raised in 1903 when Panama separated from Colombia. It was designed by Manuel Encarnación Amador and sewn by María de la Ossa de Amador; its blue and red stand for the country's two traditional political parties and its white for the peace between them. The day falls between Separation Day and Colón Day, and schools and towns fill the streets with marching bands and parades.
