National Child Day
Every child deserves a voice.

When is National Child Day?
Every year on November 20.
What is National Child Day?
National Child Day on November 20 honours the anniversaries of two UN agreements: the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959 and the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989. The Convention sets out children's rights to safety, health, education, play and a say in decisions that affect them, and it is the most widely ratified human rights treaty in history. Schools and communities mark the day by asking children what matters to them and by reviewing how well those rights are protected.
