Cities for Life Day

When is Cities for Life Day?

Every year on November 30.

What is Cities for Life Day?

Cities for Life Day, organised by the Community of Sant'Egidio, gathers cities around the world on 30 November to speak out against the death penalty. Municipalities light their landmarks, hold public readings and ask for a world without executions, turning a legal question into a shared human one. More than two hundred cities have joined the call over the years.

How to celebrate

Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
