St. Andrew's Day
Scotland the Brave — Happy St. Andrew's Day!

When is St. Andrew's Day?
Every year on November 30.
What is St. Andrew's Day?
St Andrew's Day on November 30 is the feast of Saint Andrew, one of Jesus's twelve apostles and the patron saint of Scotland. Tradition holds that he was crucified on an X-shaped cross, which became the white saltire on a blue background of the Scottish flag. Since 2006 it has been an official bank holiday in Scotland, celebrated with ceilidh dances, traditional music, Scottish food such as haggis and cranachan, and events across the country.
