World Logic Day
Think clearly, argue better.

When is World Logic Day?
Every year on January 14.
What is World Logic Day?
World Logic Day on January 14 was proclaimed by UNESCO in 2019, at the initiative of the logician Jean-Yves Béziau, with the support of the International Council for Philosophy and Human Sciences. The date honours two great logicians: Kurt Gödel, who died on January 14, 1978, and Alfred Tarski, born on January 14, 1901. Logic underpins mathematics, computer science and clear argument, and the day is marked with lectures, debates and puzzles around the world.
