World Day of Romani Language
Amari čhib, amari kultura.

When is World Day of Romani Language?
Every year on November 5.
What is World Day of Romani Language?
The World Day of Romani Language on November 5 celebrates Romani, spoken by millions of Roma across Europe and the Americas. Romani descends from languages of northern India and arrived in Europe around a thousand years ago, absorbing words from every country along the way. The day, now recognised by UNESCO, is marked with readings, music, language classes and efforts to bring Romani into schools and media.
