Poland Independence Day
Jeszcze Polska nie zginęła! (Poland has not yet perished!)

When is Poland Independence Day?
Every year on November 11.
What is Poland Independence Day?
Poland's National Independence Day on November 11 marks the rebirth of the Polish state in 1918, after 123 years in which its lands were partitioned between Russia, Prussia and Austria. On that day Józef Piłsudski took command of Polish forces in Warsaw, and the new republic soon took shape. Banned under communist rule, the holiday was restored in 1989 and is marked with flags, parades, concerts and the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
