Lebanon Independence Day
One flag, one cedar, one day.

When is Lebanon Independence Day?
Every year on November 22.
What is Lebanon Independence Day?
Lebanon's Independence Day on November 22 marks the end of the French Mandate in 1943. Earlier that month the French authorities arrested President Bechara El Khoury, Prime Minister Riad Al Solh and other leaders after parliament removed French privileges from the constitution, and held them in the citadel of Rashaya. Under popular protest and international pressure they were released on November 22, and the day is now marked with a military parade in Beirut and flags across the country.
