International Day for the Elimination of Child, Early and Forced Marriage
Girls, not brides.

When is International Day for the Elimination of Child, Early and Forced Marriage?
Every year on November 27.
What is International Day for the Elimination of Child, Early and Forced Marriage?
The International Day to End Child, Early and Forced Marriage is a UN observance on November 27. Around 12 million girls are married before the age of 18 every year, often ending their schooling and exposing them to early pregnancy, poverty and violence. The day calls for laws that set 18 as the minimum age, for keeping girls in school and for support for girls and young women already affected.
