When is Carols by Candlelight?

Every year on December 24.

What is Carols by Candlelight?

Carols by Candlelight is an Australian Christmas Eve tradition that began in Melbourne in 1938, started by radio announcer Norman Banks after he saw a woman listening alone to carols by candlelight in her window. Each year tens of thousands of people gather at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, and many more in parks and town squares across Australia, holding candles and singing carols under the summer night sky. The Melbourne concert is broadcast nationally and raises money for children's charities.
