Freedom is not free — cherish it.

When is World Freedom Day?
Every year on November 9.
What is World Freedom Day?
World Freedom Day is a US observance on November 9, the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. It was proclaimed by President George W. Bush in 2001 to commemorate the end of communist rule in Central and Eastern Europe. The day is used to honour those who resisted oppression and to reflect on the value of democracy and free speech.
