International Volunteer Day
If everyone did a little, we could achieve a lot.

When is International Volunteer Day?
Every year on December 5.
What is International Volunteer Day?
International Volunteer Day on December 5 was established by the UN General Assembly in 1985. It celebrates the millions of people who give their time to help others, from community kitchens and disaster relief to coaching, mentoring and caring for the sick. Organisations use the day to thank their volunteers, and many people mark it by signing up for a cause in their own neighbourhood.
