Light returns.

When is St. Lucia Day?
Every year on December 13.
What is St. Lucia Day?
St Lucia Day on December 13 honours Lucia of Syracuse, a young Christian martyred in Sicily around the year 304, whose name comes from the Latin word for light. In Sweden, Norway and Finland it falls in the darkest weeks of the year, and under the old Julian calendar it coincided with the winter solstice. Girls in white gowns with red sashes, one wearing a crown of candles, lead processions singing the song Santa Lucia, and families eat saffron buns called lussekatter.
