What is National Donate Life Month?
National Donate Life Month in April encourages Americans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors and honours those who have given the gift of life. More than 100,000 people in the United States are waiting for an organ transplant, and a single donor can save up to eight lives. Hospitals raise flags, families share donor stories, and Blue and Green Day invites everyone to wear the colours of the Donate Life movement.
