International Asexuality Day
A is for ace. Always has been.

When is International Asexuality Day?
Every year on April 6.
What is International Asexuality Day?
International Asexuality Day, observed each April 6, is the annual effort to put asexual people — those who experience little or no sexual attraction — and the broader ace umbrella on the global awareness map. The day was launched in 2021 by a committee of organizers from several countries after almost a year of planning, and it orbits four themes: advocacy, celebration, education and solidarity. It exists to make 'ace' a familiar word, to give voice to asexual communities outside the West and the English-speaking world, and to support the spectrum that includes demisexual, graysexual, aromantic and many other lived experiences that fall under the ace umbrella. Related moments throughout the year include Ace Week in October, Pride Month in June, and LGBTQ+ History Month.
