All Souls' Day
Remembering those who came before.
- Christian

When is All Souls' Day?
Every year on November 2.
What is All Souls' Day?
All Souls' Day on November 2 is the Christian day of prayer for all the faithful departed. The custom of a yearly commemoration on this date was set by Abbot Odilo of Cluny around the year 1000 and spread across the Western Church. Families visit cemeteries, light candles on graves and attend memorial services for relatives and friends who have died.
