Truffle Days in Croatia stretch over several autumn weekends in the Istrian village of Livade, with more than fifty exhibitors showing off the prized white and black truffles of the nearby Motovun Forest. Started in the late 1990s by the Zigante family, the festival pairs guided truffle hunts with trained dogs, cooking workshops, and Istrian wines, and has grown into one of the longest truffle events in the world.
