National Hotel Employee Day
Behind every great stay is a great team.
When is National Hotel Employee Day?
Every year on September 1.
What is National Hotel Employee Day?
National Hotel Employee Day, established in 2022 by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), honors the nearly two million people working in the U.S. hotel industry. From early-morning front desks to late-night room service, these employees greet tired travelers, tidy rooms with care, and shape every guest's stay — making vacations, business trips, and weekend getaways possible.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
