What is World Letter Writing Day?
World Letter Writing Day celebrates the timeless art of hand-written correspondence. From scented paper to sealing wax, letters carry a personal touch that digital messages can never match. Founded by Richard Simpkin to revive the joy of finding a handwritten letter in the mailbox, the day encourages people to slow down and reconnect with friends, family, mentors, or even their future selves.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
