When is International Week of Science and Peace?
From November 9 to November 15.
What is International Week of Science and Peace?
The International Week of Science and Peace is held each year in the week that includes November 11. It was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1988, during the final years of the Cold War, to encourage scientists to work across borders for peaceful ends. Universities, research centres and schools mark it with lectures, open days and joint projects on themes such as disarmament, health and climate.
