National Recycling Day

When is National Recycling Day?

Every year on November 15.

What is National Recycling Day?

National Recycling Day, known as America Recycles Day, on 15 November is about making one habit stick. Recycling is easy for a week and hard for a lifetime, so the day asks offices, schools and households to do it properly every day: separate the paper, the plastic and the glass, and put them in the right bin. The National Recycling Coalition uses it to push for the markets and rules that make recycling worth doing.

How to celebrate

Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
