International Day against Illicit Trafficking in Cultural Property
Return what was stolen.

When is International Day against Illicit Trafficking in Cultural Property?
Every year on November 14.
What is International Day against Illicit Trafficking in Cultural Property?
The International Day against Illicit Trafficking in Cultural Property was proclaimed by UNESCO in 2019 and is marked on November 14, the anniversary of UNESCO's 1970 Convention on the subject. Looting of archaeological sites and the smuggling of antiquities rob communities of their history and can fund armed groups. Countries use the day to showcase returned treasures; Türkiye has recovered thousands of artefacts, including the upper half of the Weary Herakles statue, returned from Boston in 2011.
