National Ladies Learning Code Day
Your first line of code.

When is National Ladies Learning Code Day?
Every year on November 6.
What is National Ladies Learning Code Day?
National Ladies Learning Code Day on November 6 comes from Ladies Learning Code, a Canadian nonprofit founded in Toronto in 2011 and now known as Canada Learning Code. It runs beginner-friendly workshops in programming and digital skills for women, girls and other groups underrepresented in technology. On the day, volunteers and mentors across Canada host free or low-cost sessions where participants write their first lines of code.
