National Cancer Awareness Day
Awareness is the first cure.

When is National Cancer Awareness Day?
Every year on November 7.
What is National Cancer Awareness Day?
National Cancer Awareness Day is observed in India on November 7, the birthday of Marie Curie, whose work on radioactivity laid foundations for cancer treatment. It was announced in 2014 by Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan to promote early detection, since many cancers in India are diagnosed late. Hospitals and health groups mark the day with free screening camps, talks on tobacco and diet, and campaigns against the stigma around cancer.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
