Go the extra mile.

Today
Extra Mile Day

When is Extra Mile Day?

Every year on November 1.

What is Extra Mile Day?

Extra Mile Day on November 1 celebrates people who give more than is asked of them, at work, in their goals and for their community. It was started in 2009 by author Shawn Anderson, whose Extra Mile America campaign has since been joined by hundreds of US cities that proclaim the day each year. People mark it by volunteering, finishing a task they have put off, or thanking someone who went beyond the call.

How to celebrate

Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
