Statehood Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina
A republic of many, a state of one.

When is Statehood Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina?
Every year on November 25.
What is Statehood Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina?
Statehood Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina on November 25 marks the first session of the State Anti-Fascist Council for the National Liberation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ZAVNOBiH), held in Mrkonjić Grad in 1943. During the Second World War the council declared Bosnia and Herzegovina an equal federal unit of the future Yugoslavia, belonging to all its peoples. It is a public holiday in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, marked with concerts, school events and flag ceremonies, though it is not observed in Republika Srpska.
