Mathematics Day
Numbers tell the truth.

When is Mathematics Day?
Every year on December 22.
What is Mathematics Day?
National Mathematics Day in India on December 22 honours Srinivasa Ramanujan, born on that date in 1887 in Tamil Nadu. Largely self-taught, he sent his results to the Cambridge mathematician G. H. Hardy in 1913, was invited to England, and in a short life produced thousands of results in number theory and infinite series that mathematicians still study. The day was declared in 2012, the 125th anniversary of his birth, and schools and universities mark it with competitions, lectures and maths fairs.
