Humane Society Anniversary Day
Compassion that lasts beyond a day.
When is Humane Society Anniversary Day?
Every year on November 22.
What is Humane Society Anniversary Day?
Humane Society Anniversary Day on November 22 celebrates the humane societies that have worked for more than two centuries to protect animals from cruelty. These organisations run shelters, rescue animals from neglect and disasters, campaign for animal welfare laws and help pets find new homes. People mark the day by donating to a local shelter, volunteering, or adopting rather than buying their next pet.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
