African Youth Day
The youngest continent, the brightest future.

When is African Youth Day?
Every year on November 1.
What is African Youth Day?
African Youth Day is held on November 1 by the African Union to celebrate the young people who make up the majority of the continent's population. The date recalls the African Youth Charter, adopted in 2006, which sets out young people's rights to education, work and a voice in public life. Across Africa it is marked with youth forums, volunteering, cultural events and debates on jobs and leadership.
