World Fairy Day
Believe in a little magic today.
When is World Fairy Day?
Every year on June 24.
What is World Fairy Day?
World Fairy Day on June 24 — timed to the magic of Midsummer — celebrates the ancient folklore of fairies, sprites, and enchanted beings that have sparked human imagination across cultures for millennia. From Irish changelings and Scandinavian älvor to Shakespeare's Titania and Victorian fairy paintings, these winged beings of folklore bridge the mundane and the magical. The day is an invitation to read fairy tales, explore nature, craft tiny fairy doors, and let wonder take over.
