National Adopt a Cat Month
Give a cat a forever home.
When is National Adopt a Cat Month?
From June 1 to June 30.
What is National Adopt a Cat Month?
National Adopt a Cat Month, observed every June, encourages people to open their homes to cats in shelters. Founded in 1998 by the American Humane Association, the campaign highlights that millions of cats enter shelters each year — June being peak kitten season — making it the perfect time to give a feline a forever home.
