Flag Day
Thirteen stripes, fifty stars, one story.

When is Flag Day?
Every year on June 14.
What is Flag Day?
Flag Day on June 14 marks the day in 1777 when the Second Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes as the flag of the United States. President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the first national observance in 1916, and Congress made the day permanent in 1949. Homes, schools and public buildings fly the flag, and the week around it is National Flag Week.
