What is SF Pride?

SF Pride is San Francisco's annual celebration of LGBTQIA+ community, identity, and visibility, held each year on the last Sunday of June. What began in 1970 to commemorate the Stonewall Riots now draws more than a hundred thousand people to one of the oldest and largest Pride parades in the world. The weekend brings street parties, performances, and an unmistakable message of belonging across the city's Castro district and Civic Center.
