What is San Diego Comic-Con?
San Diego Comic-Con is the largest comic book and pop culture convention in the world, drawing around 130,000 attendees each summer to the San Diego Convention Center. What began in 1970 as a small gathering of comic book fans has grown into a four-day cultural phenomenon where Hollywood studios unveil blockbuster trailers, artists sketch legendary characters, and fans celebrate every corner of genre storytelling. The convention has shaped mainstream entertainment for over 50 years.
