Every year on August 9.
What is South Africa Women's Day?
South Africa's National Women's Day commemorates the 1956 march when over 20,000 women walked to the Union Buildings in Pretoria to protest apartheid pass laws. The day honors women's role in the struggle for equality and continues to advocate for gender justice.
