International Body Piercing Day
Express yourself, one piercing at a time.
When is International Body Piercing Day?
Every year on June 28.
What is International Body Piercing Day?
International Body Piercing Day celebrates body modification as a form of self-expression and personal identity. It honors Jim Ward, often called the granddaddy of the modern piercing movement, who pioneered techniques in the Western world. From ancient tribal traditions to today's studios, the day encourages people to explore piercing as a meaningful way to express individuality.
