Feast of St. Anthony
Bread, blessings and lost things found.
- Christian

When is Feast of St. Anthony?
Every year on June 13.
What is Feast of St. Anthony?
The Feast of St. Anthony on June 13 honours the thirteenth-century Franciscan preacher from Padua. In Portugal and Italy people bring bread to church to be blessed, and it becomes the custom to give a piece away to the poor. Anthony is also the patron of lost things, so it is the day to ask him to find what has gone missing.
