Embrace Your Geekness Day
Own your passions, geek out proudly.
When is Embrace Your Geekness Day?
Every year on July 13.
What is Embrace Your Geekness Day?
Embrace Your Geekness Day encourages everyone to proudly show off their passions—comics, sci-fi, gaming, tech, and every niche hobby in between. Created by Wellcat Holidays (Tom and Ruth Roy), it celebrates how being a geek has shifted from an insult to a badge of honor. The day is all about owning what you love and the creativity it sparks.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
