What is Bravehearts Day?
Bravehearts Day, once known as White Balloon Day, brings people together to confront child sexual assault and to stand with survivors. White balloons are released and worn as a symbol of hope and solidarity, turning a subject people avoid into one they are willing to name out loud. Money raised funds education programmes, counselling and legal support for affected families.
