What is World Beard Day?
World Beard Day, celebrated on the first Saturday of September, honours the beard and the cultures that have revered facial hair throughout history. From Viking beard traditions said to date back as far as 800 AD to modern competitions like the All Bearded Human Period world record set in Florida, the day celebrates every style from close-trimmed to full and bushy.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
