Pet Day of the Dead
Their spirit returns — light a candle, share a memory.
Today
When is Pet Day of the Dead?
Every year on October 27.
What is Pet Day of the Dead?
On October 27, families create a small ofrenda — an altar with photos, favourite toys, and treats — to welcome the spirits of their passed pets home for Día de los Muertos. A beautiful tradition that celebrates the bond between humans and animals beyond life.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
